My name is Mara, and as you can see I’m a dog!
BUT! (sniff sniff) I’m also the art director, support manager, and the head of the “treats” department! My main duty however is taking care of my boss Maja, so she can focus and improve on her performance as an artist.
You see she spends so much time invested in her work she often forgets what time of day or night it is. So I’m here to create a positive atmosphere while helping her move her face away from work. That’s why I take her out for walks and hikes as much as I can.
As she often speaks with herself, I’m always available to listen to all that bullshit, without judgment (I mean she is the one that pays for my treats, so I kind of have no choice in the matter). Also, I’m in charge of her work schedule, social events, and general well-being.

I’m a human being, an illustrator, and a designer.
Mara says I’m her boss but you and me both know that it’s the other way around. Even now, while I’m writing this, she’s poking her cute little black nose into my laptop carefully spellchecking every word I write.
When it comes to my work, I’m interested in many different fields of illustration, graphic design and storytelling.
My work-life balance often sucks, because there is a fine line between working on personal projects and commissions and I often don’t see that line. I bring everything I’ve got into every project I work on – like it’s truly my own – and that’s the reason I prefer to put my time and ideas into stories that have a soul.
